Getting Started

Installing SeatDrop on your phone lets you receive instant push notifications when seats open up or tickets go on sale. It takes about 30 seconds.

iPhone / iPad (Safari)

1. Open seatdrop.app in Safari
2. Get to your more actions function, then tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up)
3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen
4. Tap Add in the top right

SeatDrop now appears on your home screen like a regular app.

Android (Chrome)

1. Open seatdrop.app in Chrome
2. Tap the three-dot menu in the top right
3. Tap Install app or Add to Home Screen
4. Tap Install

Why install?

Installing is now required to receive alerts at all. SMS signup has been retired — push, set up in the installed app, is the only way to create a new alert (a desktop user who's already installed on their phone can enter their SD-XXXX code to route alerts there instead, but the initial setup still has to happen on a phone). Installing enables free, instant push notifications with higher alert limits — up to 100 active alerts and 500 monitored seats per alert.
